2025 UPDATE
While everything we said before still stands, we thought it might be useful to share a quick update on where we are in 2025.
We’re noticing a real shift in what people want from their cars. More and more customers are choosing the sort of stock we’ve always specialised in: reliable, good value, economical to run and repair - over the flashier cars they might have bought a year or two ago. Many of our customers agree with us that a lot of newer cars just don’t seem to be built as well as the older ones and also that there are better things to spend money on.
The good news is, we’ve always kept things simple. Our stock is “boring” in the best possible way: solid engines, no Ecoboosts, no PureTechs, and nothing too prestige or overly complicated (unless it’s a particularly nice example). The cars we sell are reliable and long-lasting transportation, there to get you to work, get the kids to school and carry the shopping home. That has become our mission really and it provides a lot of satisfaction when we see the cars we have sold on the road year after year, either locally or when out of town.
Most importantly, we’re proud to say that our customers keep coming back. Right now, we’re seeing an average of three repeat customers every month... so the approach must be working.
